1. 地球演唱會 LIVE EARTH 2007
美國前副總統戈爾發起LIVE EARTH二十四小時馬拉松地球音樂會，星期六分別在八個國家舉行。由澳洲到日本到中國上海，之後再由南非、德國、英國、巴西和美國等多國接力舉行。音樂會目的是希望世人關注全球暖化和溫室效應等問題，共有百多位歌手參與，包括上海站的陳奕迅、容祖兒、Soler，英國壓軸的麥當娜等，由電視和互聯網轉播，估計全球共有二十億觀眾收看。不過，有環保團體批評這次音樂會消耗大量能源，違背宣揚環保訊息的本意，也有不少評論員認為音樂會名過於實，對改善環保實質功效有限。你對LIVE EARTH地球音樂會又有何看法?你是否會坐言起行，為改善環保有作出什麼行動嗎?
2. 中國的萬里長城入選世界新七大奇蹟
瑞士一個基金會今年一月發起世界新七大奇蹟選舉，結果有近1億人參與投票。入選的包括中國的萬里長城，印度的泰姬陵、羅馬鬥獸場、約旦的佩特拉古城、巴西里約熱內盧的基督巨像、秘魯的印加馬丘比丘古城、墨西哥的奇琴伊查金字塔。古代七大奇蹟中唯一保留下來的古蹟，埃及的金字塔，主辦單位決定自然當選，與新的七大奇蹟並列成八大奇蹟。梁朝偉在花樣年華中哭訴心聲的吳哥窟，懷疑因柬埔寨國民上網率較低，最後未能入選。聯合國表示不會承認這次結果，指選舉只由部分網民投票，欠缺代表性。你認為這次選舉的結果合理嗎?你會投那個古蹟一票?為什麼?
3.台灣人氣偶像賀軍翔訪港食豬腸粉引起哄動
台灣組合飛輪海日前訪問香港，肌肉男吳尊所到之處均引起哄動。這星期，台灣人氣偶像賀軍翔和鄭元暢訪港，又掀起熱潮。小美賀軍翔到深水步參觀，結果需動用10名保安開路，大批FANS圍觀食店，爭睹小美食豬腸粉的風姿。小美參觀閃燈人名牌的店鋪，由於人潮太多，店鋪東主也被拒於門外，令東主哭笑不得。台灣的男星為什麼忽然在港大熱，成為香港少女的夢中情人?香港的男星是否已失去往日的光芒?再無叫座力?英國華人的女生，你的夢中情人又是誰?要具備什麼條件?
4. 第十五屆全英華人運動日暨全英中文學校校運會

無可否認進行網上投票的可信性始終是令人存疑，正如NBA明星賽的球員選舉總會有姚明一樣，因為他有力量龐大的中國網民支持﹔其實我自己本身也會有偏心，投了萬里長城和巨石陣的一票，但是免費的網站投票能投一次票，而通過購買售價2美金的紀念証書的方式評選，則可以多次投票，這豈不是買票嗎﹖

I don't think we will have any candidate for the olympic. You don't get any support from the government and most Chinese parents can't afford to do it on their own. May be the Chinese community can set up a fund to encourage more young talents

My brother love to play football, but I don't think he will take up sports as a career, he thinks it is too risky. May be our next generation will have more chance. I will let my son be a olympic competitor if he has the ability. Would be great if there is a fund to support it too. Thanks for a wonderful new show, Cheng Ting Ting has a very sweet voice!

我也投了萬里長城和巨石陣一票。其實中國有很多古蹟，要選的話也應榜上有名。現在有點像香港式頒獎典禮，人人有份，國國開心。

Live Earth is just a show for Mr Gore and a chance for all the singers to promote their record sales. Most people will enjoy the show do a bit of Action, but I don't think it is enough. I think it is a missed opportunity. They should link it up with more political actions.
And I am really angry to keep hearing BBC journalist claiming it is good to have China on broad in the show, "because China is now one of the world's greatest polluter". What they forgot to mention is most of the industry are making products for the rest ocf the world, so the WEST are still the real polluter. China is just taking the blame for the WEST.

巴西基督像不錯是奇蹟，但相比敦煌石窟，美國總統山，甚至香港的大佛也不見得怎樣出色。我認為復活島和士耳其山區的巨石像更應入選!!!

中國明顯係代罪羔羊。其實中國很多地區根本仍欠水電，如何製造廢氣?戈爾搞騷絕對有私心。什麼CARBON TRADING，早已變成奸商謀利同時縱容污染的手段，live earth 是戈爾這盆生意的大型造勢會。有時覺得江總會講得好，有太多人too simple, sometime naive!

Interesting show.But i didn't not have computer earlier. May be we can phone in or send sms next week? I agree with Ting Ting. We should use our car less and cut down pollution. As for the Taiwanese actor, my choice is Mike Ho, i will follow him too if he visit London.

今天錯過了節目，如果可以在網上重溫便好了。你們近日加強了很多新的節目，真的是聽眾之福。鄭婷婷是否以前zoom-in 訓練班的新dj?似乎558又增加了新的一班生力軍了，實在可喜可賀!
至於今日討論的題目，吾以為環保騷有一定作用，戈爾就算從中撈點油水，只要多些關注環境保護，也無甚麼所謂。
七大奇蹟，中國佔一位實在是少了點，但無辦法，要分豬肉也。
香港流行的事物快去快來，說不定下月流生英國回歸的bbc仔哩。
美加華裔出奧運選手，主要是第三，第四代的事，就算有錢也不一定可拔苗助長。不過，而家開始找明日之星，十年廿年後摘金，也是美事。

It's great to see we have such an active audience!
Let's hope Live Earth 2007 can really raise awareness of the importance of saving the environment, because the planet is the only pride and possession that we can invest in for the future generation. Togther, making all those small changes to our daily habits we can make a difference!
So first we have the Korean craze, with celebrities like Rain showing off their smooth dance skills and great vocals, and now we have the Taiwanese idols [a bit closer to home], making girls swoon. What going to be next big thing?!

I agree with the Sports Day Lady. There are many young Chinese talents out there. We just have to find them and give them support. It is never easy but we have a big community now. If everyone of us give up one pound it would be enough to support a few young athletes. The Chinese immigrants in USA have already produced a olympic medals, we should support our young people too . Also want to say this show is a very good way to get the community talking. Thank you for your hard work.

Sometime I wish I can type Chinese, but I hope my English make sense. I just want to congratulate your radio on this new show. It is a fun way to discuss important issues affecting the community. I think it is very important Chinese people get to know more about environment issues. In the news today, many people in Hong Kong are still using the old tunston light bulb, and that is after almost 20 year of the energy-saving light bulb has been invented. BTW, it is funny to hear you play the story of Edison the inventor of old-style light bulb last week and then remind us to switch over to the new bulb this week. The story is read by a very cute computer voice. Any chance of putting the story on the internet to download, I would like to send to my little nephews in Scotland. Thanks

I think people will be very disappointed once they visited the Great Wall, it has ben badly neglected and more like a imitated theme park for the tourist. I think now that it's been voted as the Seven Wonder, United Nation should send in the peace-keeping force to make sure it is well-protected…
Seriously, I think all the old teasure need management, otherwise the NEw Wonders will go the same way as the Old 7 wonders.

我也希望兒子參加奧運，如果他有這機會，我會支持。家長都很希望子女成才，成為奧運選手也是很有前途的。但家長不是專家，很難看出小朋友那方面最有天份，加以栽培。
