時下年青一代流行上網，在社交網站上，如Facebook中，發表生活圖片，留下日誌，與朋友交流。據《泰晤士報》報道，牛津大學有職員在這些網站上，監察學生是否出現違規行為，之後更把網上搜索之照片作紀律訓示之證據。調查顯示，部份僱主在招聘員工時，也會使用Facebook網站，搜查應徵者的資料。你是否FACEBOOK的發燒用戶?有沒有曾經在網上留下偶爾輕狂的照片?你擔心自己在網上的私隱嗎?
Since the launch of Facebook in 2004 by a Harvard student, the online network is forever growing. But did you know that employers may now Google your name on the internet to get more information about you that was not mentioned on your CV. And Facebook is the next most popular site for bosses to keep track of what your social life! Have you ever tried Googling your name? Imagine if it returns with 100s of photos of you getting drunk, it wouldn't impress your boss much! What's more, a lot of offices have banned sites like Facebook to stop employees surfing on the net when they should be working. Do you have a Facebook addiction? Would any of embarrassing photos come up if we Google your name?
2. 整容DIY．越整越醜 Plastic Surgery DIY
潮流興整容，港姐吳文忻更成為香港首位擔任整容公司代言人的明星。近日不少追星一族也蠢蠢欲動，計劃效法偶像，加入整容行列。可怕的是，部分新一代的人工美少男少女，由於付不了高昂的手術費，竟然自己動手，為自己整容。有人用雞骨來隆鼻，也有人用腳板杜雞眼的酸液，塗在面上脫痣，結果越整越醜，慘淡收場。你覺得明星效應是否真的威力無窮?你會考慮整容嗎?會整那個部位呢?
With plastic surgeries so common place among the celebrities, increasing number of people seem to aspire to the trend, yet most of us can't afford the cost, and some are resorting to doing it themselves. Is this a new illness of the information age? In one cases, a man tried to operate on his nose, using chicken bone as cartilage, and a boy in China try to get rid of his facial mole using the surgical acid usually reserved for the corns on the feet. These might be extreme cases, but celebrity lifestyles seem to be drawing in on us more and more. Weren't you tempted to try one of the latest diet when some celebrities mention it on TV? would you go under the knife to make yourselves look better? What changes would you make?

香港一份雜誌最近選出最乞人憎的明星，結果大美人李嘉欣以近五成選票勇奪冠軍，莫非美麗真的有罪?有人認為香港八卦新聞變得越來越企業化，雜誌爆放獨家醜聞，隨時可為老板帶來巨額收益，故此，狗仔隊無孔不入，部份配備比警隊查案更為專業。香港電台的一哥也因為被記者撞破與艷女郎撓手夜行而被迫提早退休。名人八卦醜聞為什麼如此吸引?美麗與智慧化身的香港小姐為什麼會變成狐妮，變成最乞人憎明星之首?
A Hong Kong gossip magazine announced its poll on the most hated celebrities with beauty queen Michele Reis came top. The gossip trade is big in Hong Kong: even the more reputable broadsheets carry pages after pages on the latest going-on in the showbiz circle. No one can escape the Big Brother lens of the K9 paparazzi in Hong Kong. Even the boss of Radio TV Hong Kong was caught red-handedly with a dancing girl and was forced into early retirement last week. Why do we have such a fascination on celebrities? What turns a well-love Miss Hong Kong into a hated figure in the poll?
4. 英國法院禁制少女叫外賣 Takeaway Ban for Asbo Teenager
英國一名少女與朋友吵架，打電話到外賣店，惡作劇要求送餐到朋友住址，五個月內多次造成滋擾。法院頒下ASBO禁制令，禁止少女訂購外賣，否則會受進一步制裁。英國政府為針對各地日益嚴重的反社會行為，2003年制訂了ASBO法案，讓法院可以頒令，對屢屢破壞公德的市民，作出種種限制。你的餐館或外賣店有沒有遭遇過這些惡作劇行為呢?有沒有特別的對策，減少被騙的機會?你覺得ASBO收效如何?遇上問題時，警方是否有提供協助?可以和我們分享你的遭遇嗎?
A 19 year old girl was given an Asbo this week banning her from ordering takeaway for other people. The court heard that the teenager have been ordering deliveries of takeaways to homes of her friends she had fallen out with. Have you been a victim of prank calls like these? 本人雖已退休多年，但十分喜歡上網，故此亦有到facebook留言和發相片。我覺得這是一個和朋友保持聯絡的好方法。我認為上網就好像出街一樣，你在公眾場所不會做的事，在網上也不要做，日後自然不用擔心被人發現醜態百出的照片。

I only have myspace so not sure if it is the same as facebook. I set it up so that only my friend can see my naughty picture LOL. This country is getting more and more like Big Brother, with the Smoking Ban and ID card, I am not surprise Employers are starting to monitor us on the net. BUT at least we still have freedom to surf, unlike in China, when you google you only get the approved website.

李嘉欣可算是朱玲玲之後最靚的港姐，但是她的名字卻常常與有婦之夫連在一起，所以被選為最乞人憎也不是很出奇。狗仔隊有時是出位一D，但問心無愧又怕他們什麼?港姐除了美麗與智慧並重之外，應該有善良的心地和清高的品格，否則再美也是乞人憎。

I came to your website a few weeks ago, I am very surprise so much have happend here since. I was once a great fan of Lee Ka Yan, but she lost my support when I heard her swearing tape on the internet. Outside beauty is not the only thing! My favourite girl is KT Tunstall now. She impress me very much with her performance on Live Earth, and she is half Chinese as well, just like Lee Ka Yan.

We use a computer system to log the caller's number and then check their post code with their address. Usually the prankster get scare when we told them we have their number, and when their post code don't check out, they usually hang up. We have been using this for 2 years now and don't have any problems any more.

My mum is very good when someone try to cheat us on the phone. She can ALWAYS tell if the call is real or just cheating. We don't have computer but we never have problem of sending to a false order!!!

我覺得整容的人需要心理的輔導多於做手術，政府應該規定整容醫生必需為病人作心理評估和輔導，最後才可做手術。香港近日的整容熱，已變得太商業化，結果會有更多無知少年被誤導，釀成悲劇。
我是做外賣店的，有時遇到刻意搞事的顧客，真的感到十分無助。

How about a competition to find the most Hated Celeb in London? I will vote for the new Home Secretary Jackie Smith. It is so hypocritical for the Home Office to say they will re-ban cannabis, making a lot of young people a criminal when they themselves tried it in their youth. This so very talking the talk without walking the walk!

We all love a bit of gossip. The celebrities earn a lot of money for their fame. It is part of the deal. If they don't want the attention of the press, they can choose to become a lollipop lady or a street-cleaner. No one will bother them then!

Hello again. I agree with Danny. If you have something sensitive, you can always set it for private view only. Just like you can draw your curtain at home when you don't want people to look into your house. I won't delete my profile just because some smart alec try to spy on my profile.

I think the police should learn more from the court. We have a lot of kids calling out takeaway playing pranks all the time. We never bother to complain to the police in the past because I don't think they will do anything.

There will always be silly people doing silly things. You can't blame everything on celebrities. I don't want to have plastic surgery now, but I want to have the freedom to do it if ever I feel there is a need. What's wrong with wanting to improve your look? It is just like putting make up on, but the result last much longer.

I have a friend who keep calling people when she is depressed. ASBO is useless for people with mental problem. They need to get medical help NOT a court order..

We don't need more law in this country. We need more efficient Police and better Schools. When my parents first arrived, they don't need o lock their doors. ASBO is like the Chinese saying, rubbing your head when you have a headache, rubbing your leg when you have a pain in your leg. But the real disease might be somewhere deep inside. Unless the government invest in educating the poor, and have morfe police on the street, any new laws are just like plastering the cracks. The girl don't need an ASBO, she need conselling to deal with her emotional problem. No sane person will do something like that. And prankster are just kids who are not educated properly.

I don't see how anyone can hate anyone without knowing them. We read about the celebritis on the newspaper, but how much do we really know about them. Hate is too big a word. May be the most irritating, in that case I want to vote for all those rich ladies who in the HK ball scene. LOL
