[中文版] The Migration Advisory Committee is about to launch its second review of the Government’s shortage occupation lists and deadline for further evidence is 15 July 2009. This specifically applies to the position of skilled chefs.
A number of key Chinese organisations, including London Chinatown Chinese Association, Confederation of Chinese Association (UK), Min Quan and others have joined forces to conduct this national survey.
The purpose of this survey is to investigate and address the labour and skill shortages in the Chinese catering industry. It will only need 5 minutes to fill in the questionnaire.
The questionnaires will need to be collected by 8 June 2009.
An independent and eminent academic will produce a final report, and submit the findings to The Migration Advisory Committee.
Last opportunity to raise concerns!
